About the role
IR Global Accounting Services (Pvt) Ltd is a global provider of accounting, taxation, payroll, and business advisory services with over 10 years of experience and more than 110 active clients worldwide.
The company is establishing an offshore delivery centre in Sri Lanka and is looking for a motivated female candidate to join its accounting team as a Trainee / Junior Accounts staff member. Fresh candidates who are willing to learn are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
~ Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting entries.
~ Prepare and maintain invoices, receipts, and payment records.
~ Support bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
~ Coordinate with vendors and clients on billing matters.
~ Assist in preparing financial reports for management.
~ Support the finance team during month-end closing and audit processes.
Requirements
~ Female applicants only.
~ Diploma, Degree, or Professional Qualification in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
~ Fresh candidates who are willing to learn are also welcome to apply.
~ Good English communication skills are mandatory.
~ Basic knowledge of MS Excel will be an advantage.
~ Good organizational skills and ability to multitask.
~ Candidates residing in or near Ragama or within the Western Province will have an added advantage.
