About the role
The employer is seeking an experienced and responsible Showroom Manager to manage day-to-day showroom operations in Battaramulla.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the sales team, implementing sales strategies, handling customer enquiries and quotations, supervising stock and inventory, supporting basic accounts functions, and ensuring a high standard of showroom presentation and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
~ Lead, motivate, and manage sales associates to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
~ Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue.
~ Prepare customer quotations.
~ Respond to email enquiries professionally and promptly.
~ Oversee inventory management, stock control, and stock taking.
~ Maintain excellent customer service standards.
~ Ensure high standards of showroom presentation.
~ Supervise daily showroom operations.
~ Handle customer queries, sales, cash handling, and packaging.
~ Assist with day-to-day accounts activities.
~ Maintain proper records of transactions.
Requirements
~ Minimum 4 years of showroom experience.
~ G.C.E. A/L or relevant qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Retail Management.
~ Good knowledge of English.
~ Basic knowledge of accounts will be an advantage.
~ Ability to multitask and handle sales, customer queries, cash, and operational duties.
~ Good email and quotation preparation skills.
~ Available for an immediate start.
Working Hours
~ Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
~ Saturday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
~ Closed on Sundays and Poya Days
