About the role
Jaya Farm is a well-established company in the animal farming sector based in Marawila, with several business locations in the North Western Province.
The company is looking for dynamic and suitable candidates to join its farms in Arachchikattuwa, Marichchikattuwa, and Agunavila as Poultry Farm Managers / Farm Supervisors.
Key Responsibilities
~ Manage and coordinate activities of modern broiler farms.
~ Maintain proper farm hygiene and biosecurity standards.
~ Manage feed supply, inventory, and distribution to ensure optimal nutrition for birds.
~ Maintain accurate records of flock performance, health, and production.
~ Support and coordinate equipment maintenance.
~ Monitor day-to-day farm operations and ensure smooth functioning.
Requirements
~ Male candidates only.
~ HND Level 4–6 qualification in Agriculture or Animal Husbandry, or G.C.E. A/L in the Bio Science stream.
~ Previous experience in poultry farming or farm management.
~ Good knowledge of broiler farm operations.
~ Understanding of farm hygiene and biosecurity practices.
~ Ability to maintain farm records and manage inventory.
~ Good organizational and supervisory skills.
