About the role
SilkFive, the exclusive franchisee for Island Tea Company and Ceylon Coffee Club, is inviting applications for Marketing Intern positions.
The selected candidates will support the marketing team in creating engaging content, planning campaigns, managing social media, and assisting with brand activations and promotional activities.
This internship offers an opportunity to gain practical marketing experience and develop skills through real-world projects within a well-established Tea and Coffee retail chain with more than 160 branches internationally.
Key Responsibilities
~ Assist in creating content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
~ Support marketing campaign planning and execution.
~ Assist with events and in-store promotional activities.
~ Conduct basic market research and competitor analysis.
~ Support brand awareness and customer engagement activities.
~ Maintain content calendars and monitor campaign performance.
Requirements
~ Applicants should be below 24 years of age.
~ Currently pursuing or recently completed a Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
~ Good communication skills in English and Sinhala.
~ Content creation and social media skills will be an advantage.
~ Creative, enthusiastic, and willing to learn.
~ Ability to travel islandwide when required.
