About the role
Prudential Shipping, a maritime services company engaged in vessel agency, freight forwarding, and offshore logistics, is looking for a Junior Executive – Agency Operations to join its team.
The selected candidate will support day-to-day port and agency operations while coordinating with vessels, authorities, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
~ Visit ports and airports for crew sign-on / sign-off activities.
~ Communicate professionally with clients via email.
~ Handle operational approvals and documentation.
~ Update relevant operational systems and records.
~ Support husbandry services and vessel attendance.
~ Coordinate cargo-related operations.
~ Work flexible hours when operationally required.
~ Coordinate effectively with vessels, authorities, clients, and service providers.
Requirements
~ Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
~ Good spoken and written English.
~ Good computer literacy, including MS Office and Outlook.
~ Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
~ Valid motorbike driving licence.
~ Candidates should be based in or near Colombo.
~ Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
