About the role
Teejay Lanka PLC is looking for a committed Finance Trainee to join its Finance team in Avissawella on a two-year contract basis.
The selected candidate will gain broad practical experience through structured rotations across key finance functions, providing an excellent opportunity to develop professional accounting and financial management skills in a leading manufacturing environment.
Key Areas / Responsibilities
~ Accounts Receivable & Treasury.
~ Accounts Payable.
~ Financial Accounting functions.
~ Exposure to SAP and finance-related processes.
~ Support day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
~ Gain practical experience through structured Finance team rotations.
Requirements
~ Undergraduate in a Management Degree programme at a recognized university.
~ Part-qualified in ICASL / ACCA / CIMA.
~ CA Articles can be covered.
~ Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
~ Good knowledge of accounting standards.
~ Strong analytical skills.
~ Motivated and committed attitude towards professional development.
