About the role
GIM General Trading & Construction (Pvt) Ltd is looking for an Audit Trainee / Audit Executive to support internal audits, financial record reviews, reconciliations, internal controls, compliance, and audit reporting.
Key Responsibilities
~ Conduct internal audits and review financial records.
~ Examine supporting documents, transactions, and accounting entries.
~ Identify discrepancies, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
~ Prepare audit working papers and audit reports.
~ Perform account and bank reconciliations.
~ Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures.
~ Assist in reviewing internal controls and financial processes.
~ Follow up on audit findings and recommended corrective actions.
~ Work closely with Finance and Management teams.
Requirements
~ Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in Auditing or Accounting.
~ AAT Finalist or part / fully qualified in CIMA or ACCA.
~ Degree in Accounting / Finance will be an added advantage.
~ Experience in internal audit, financial audit, and accounting.
~ Strong knowledge of accounting principles and audit procedures.
~ Experience in the construction industry will be an added advantage.
