About the role
Fame Group of Companies is a diversified organization operating in Telecommunication, Electrical, Renewable Energy, IT Engineering Services, Human Resource Outsourcing, and Contact Center Solutions in Sri Lanka.
The company is looking for an Assistant Engineer / Technical Officer – Telecommunications to support the planning, implementation, supervision, and successful delivery of telecommunication infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
~ Assist in planning, implementation, and supervision of telecommunication infrastructure projects.
~ Carry out site surveys, installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
~ Prepare reports, technical documentation, and project updates.
~ Support project engineers to ensure quality, timelines, and EHS compliance.
~ Coordinate effectively with project teams and relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
~ Male candidate.
~ Higher National Diploma (HND), NDT, NDES, or equivalent qualification in Telecommunications, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
~ Minimum 1–2 years of experience in telecommunication projects.
~ Fresh graduates with strong potential are also encouraged to apply.
~ Hands-on knowledge of RF / Transmission will be an added advantage.
~ Strong analytical and communication skills.
~ Good teamwork skills.
