About the role
Description *
Life Vision Credit and Investment (Pvt) Ltd is a financial services company providing microfinance, auto loans, business loans, and gold loans, with a focus on supporting and empowering self-employed individuals and women entrepreneurs in Sri Lanka.
The selected Accountant will be responsible for preparing and managing financial reports accurately and on time, supporting the smooth operation of the finance function, and ensuring compliance with applicable financial and regulatory requirements.
The role also involves facilitating audits, providing observations and feedback to management, and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
~ Manage and prepare financial reports accurately and within required timelines.
~ Ensure the smooth flow of financial operations within the finance function.
~ Ensure compliance with applicable financial and regulatory requirements.
~ Facilitate internal and external audit activities.
~ Provide financial observations and feedback to management.
~ Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on finance-related matters.
~ Apply strong analytical thinking and attention to detail in financial activities.
~ Maintain high standards of accuracy and professionalism in stakeholder interactions.
Requirements
~ Applicants should be below 40 years of age.
~ Minimum 5 years of working experience in the accounting field.
~ Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Business Administration with Accounting, or an equivalent qualification.
~ Professional qualification in CA / ACCA / CPA / CIMA.
~ Good knowledge of financial accounting.
~ Good knowledge of tax laws.
~ Strong analytical and communication skills.
~ Good attention to detail.
